Pros
Contributing to an organization with an important core mission; making quality products relied upon by emergency responders in potentially life-threatening situations. Working in a culture of continuous improvement that is professionally challenging, with an overall environment that is very collaborative, flexible and close-knit, allowing open interaction among all staff, including the executive leadership team. Performance and achievements make positive differences that are noticed, appreciated and rewarded, by both the customers and the company. The overall package of compensation and benefit structures are competitive, and in certain areas, exceed what is offered by larger companies. Having also spent approximately 15 years with Fortune-500 companies, in my opinion, the overall combination of meaningful work, culture, and personal interactions here at BK compare favorably.
