All fixed pay (zero vairable), but surprisingly low base salary. Very cheap breakfast, lunch and evening snacks. So you save on commute (local train) and food expense for morning, afternoon and evening. Decent infrastructure (clean and hygenic).
Cons
Work-life balance & toxicity depends upon department. Pay is equally bad for most departments & designations levels (irrespective of work hours put). This is concerning considering that the exchange is profitable and is growing steadily per financial quarter & thus, could pay better like NSE or the depositories. Examples with okay Work-life: HR, admin, accounts, enforcement, inspection. On the other hand, some departments (like surveillance, investigation, legal) clock an average of 10-12 hour per day.
