How much time you got? For starters, I feel like the designers were misrepresented to me. I asked the hiring manager if they could do detailed layout in the interview process. And he said they could. I guess I should have asked: "does anyone ask them to do any?" Because I haven't seen it. The next big issue is trying to do detailed design without equipment info. You'll have people screaming for drawings when you have no info. The projects are not particularly well defined (not surprising considering how limited info and time you have to put them together). The PMs really don't try to get the client to commit to a solid GA or scope. In short: this place is a mess, and I'm getting out ASAP.
