Pros

BSM is by far the best place to be for making the most amount of money in recruitment. I started off at large global rec company then moved to a startup for many years before joining here. I am now in my 7th year of overall recruiting and after my first full quarter (5th month in) at BSM I am getting my largest commision cheque by almost 3 times. The commission structure is set up so that the consultants make good money for being successful, and the support received is fantastic. I am in the NYC office and in here are 2 of the best rec's I have ever seen, hands down. Bottom line is, if you back yourself and want the best platform to make as much money as possible then BSM group is a great place to be. Other things are the office vibe and group are quality and the incentives (Lunch clubs, trips etc) are amazing.

Cons

Not a lot to change here, the salaries are bang average and I took a slight hit on my base but after my first commission cheque, it is already worth it.

Pros

BSM really buy into their employees and allow them to grow within the business by investing both time and money in their career growth. It is a great place to work with an excellent culture, whilst being surrounded by very strong recruiters that are very successful in what they do. I have been working in the New York office for nearly 2 years now and I can't see myself being happier than I currently am here at BSM in any other firm in the city. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about starting a career in recruitment or looking to advance in their career in recruitment to strongly consider joining BSM. Both Paul and Tom are excellent at what they do and you will learn a lot from each of their approaches to recruitment as both have different styles!
