Pros
There is a good culture in general. Work-life balance is emphasized. Health benefits were good. Clients and projects were challenging and fun! Lots of learning professionally.
Cons
Very low compensation for the industry. Make-dominant leadership. They speak a lot about DEI but don’t walk the talk. Poor leadership who is primarily concerned about themselves but not the main players on the teams. Titles are smoke and mirror. As a young professional or someone who’s making a change in career, there is a honeymoon phase that soon will get tainted with the reality of favoritism. Typical business politics but objectively, plain unprofessional. No clarity or transparency on promotion strategies. And I believe the CEO announced his daughter - who hadn’t been an essential part of the company until then - into a future leadership role which made me think of nepotism.
