Terrible work environment - Host/Hostess Baked Expectations Employee Review

She gives fair salaries even to entry-level positions.

The owner/management is rude, and hostile, making things difficult for everyone especially when she is around. She is bossy in a very negative way and treats her staff like trash. Nobody deserves to be treated the way she does. Staffs are all scared when she is around. Everyone doesn't need to work strategically just look busy and make sure she can see you then you're safe. There is no transparency in tip distribution. Some staff cut cakes bigger just to get all cakes sold out at the earliest time possible. The bakers are scared too. They are like slaves.

The guy that trained me was very nice and professional

The owner of Baked was the most rude person I have ever had the displeasure to work for. I have had countless jobs before hand and I have never experienced working for someone like her before. If you're thinking of applying here, don't, it's not even worth your time. You'll probably get fired before you can even get your first pay check. I was utterly appalled by everything she stands for as a business owner.
