Pros
Chance to work on big, complex transactions, thus learning a lot and getting exposure as a young associate. Excellent job atmosphere. Good professional development opportunities.
Cons
Very long hours, although to be fair this is characteristic of all private corporate law practices. There are natural tensions between older partners that have been there through thick and thin, and young partners that currently do the heavy lifting and feel they deserve a better compensation.
