Pros
Work life balance is usually excellent with design cycles that go from not too much work to do to sometimes being insanely busy. Much of the engineering team has 15-20+ years of experience which demonstrates that employees generally really enjoy working here.
Cons
During some parts of the design cycle work loads are immense. Yearly raises that don't carry an on-paper promotion are not meager, but starting salaries are high. Very small engineering team so upward movement outside of title changes and pay increases are minimal. Medium sized technology company based out of Belgium means that while the company feels small in the office, depending on your position there is a lot of interaction with employees all over the globe and strict procedures in place that gum-up-the-works of day-to-day engineering tasks.
