Pros
The owners started out with a fantastic mission and idea; best pricing, above average wages for industry. And a lot of understanding in flexibility for scheduling. A solid growth rate and never really bored. Education from Vendors and a solid belief of customer Care.
Cons
Too big for their britches. The growth became the focus and not in the best way. Care for employees was lost and instead of genuine employee retention, the revolving door happened and money was wasted.
Instead of expanding connection with a few solid stores, they began to expand into Franchises and the ownership stopped caring about their people who depended on them.
No matter what you did, you were wrong, you were not as good as the owners were no matter how hard you tried. Little direction, very little support, and as you broke your back for them, they told you how wrong you were.
