Hired to support a senior exec who turned out to be an incredibly poor communicator & terrible boss. His reason for letting me go was "performance" - which never came up the entire time I was there. I knew he was lying when he couldn't look at me during the final virtual meeting with HR. At that point, he revealed himself to be a liar and a coward.
