Pros
The upper Management Aaron and Hilary in particular go above and beyond to ensure you are getting what you need to be successful and are extremely open and communicative to feedback.
Great flexibility around family or medical issues, you can bring your kids to work if needed, leave early to go pick them up etc and as long as you make up your time all is well. This is a huge plus especially if you are concerned about your work life/balance.
There is a strong push for a stronger better culture around the office not just best practices with document control but also with outings and events targeted towards team building. There is a lot of room for growth if you are willing to put in the extra work and hours as this is a start-up GC still
All suggestions or concerns you bring up are always immediately addressed and acknowledged, it can be slow to actually implement new procedures but you are heard no matter your position in the company.
Cons
Not enough training/ on boarding for brand new employees there is a lot of sink or swim and you are expected to learn through asking and trial and error.
Management could be a little more stern and rigorous in actually enforcing company policy. There are certain people who take advantage of the lax atmosphere.
