Not sustainable - Facilities Lead Barry's Employee Review

Let me just say, I’ve met some really good people who worked for Barry’s. Key word is “worked” everyone who has any backbone left because they were being over worked and under appreciated. Almost every instructor I come across is absolutely miserable. They may seem up beat and high energy during class but let me tell you, behind closed doors all they do is complain about their job. The company culture at Barry’s is toxic. Corporate doesn’t care about the people working in the actual gym. Management is a mess. Most part time employees do nothing not even the bare minimum and there is no accountability. Corporate only cares about the profits they can extract by paying the workers minimum wage. It’s been a good thing physically for my body but besides that I wouldn’t waste your time working here they DO NOT care about you as a person.
