Pros

Big company so there were opportunities to progress internally. My line managers and the HR team supported me with my mental health.

Cons

Pace of change and innovation was slow. Meant that digital systems and tools took a long time to be updated, leaving me performing lots of time consuming manual admin work which became tedious and stressful to cope with workload. High staff turnover in operations team when I was there.

Pros

I was skeptical at first because from the beginning I felt valued as an employee. I finally had great pay, awesome work life balance, a solid team, and a manager that can relate and looks to build employees for their next position. I’ve been with the company for a while now and nothing has changed. Still the best company I have ever worked for.

Cons

Now that I can think of, and I have thought about it a lot.

Pros

Great supporting staff of technicians, performance engineering, ROCC (this may surprise some former coworkers that I thought very highly of them lol), OT, and NERC Compliance.

Cons

Significant disconnect between C-Suite and Upper Management level employees and field staff, lack of transparency, did not follow through on performance review for 5% salary increase after 90 days, motto “We don’t want to be the biggest, we want to be the best” does not match action.
