Regarding your other comments, promotion opportunities for this level take place twice per year. There are guidelines in place for promotion to be considered, and competency development is the key requirement for promotion.
Non-financial activities are not a requirement to be promoted, but are viewed as valuable elements of each individual’s overall growth and engagement.
Training and upskilling; training is available to all staff with a minimum annual requirement in place. It is each individual’s responsibility to ensure they proactively carve out time during the year to ensure they complete training and development goals in addition to project work.
On WFH, we have a very generous hybrid working policy in place. On salaries, it is absolutely in our interests to ensure our salary and benefits are at market as this impacts our ability to hire and retain our good people. That’s why we benchmark our salaries annually against consulting and industry best practices so that we know our salaries and benefits are at market. We encourage anyone who feels their salary is out of kilter with their role/responsibilities to speak with their Service Line Lead, DM or the People team to review the situation.
On role alignment, it is important to acknowledge that you were hired as a Technology Consultant and your role is designed to reflect that, including access to relevant training, opportunities for technical and personal growth, and recognition of your technical contributions.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback.
