-salaries can be on the lower side of industry standards, and despite lower-level employees being encouraged to work extra hours to keep up with heavy workloads, this extra compensation can be overlooked when employees earn a promotion. -Company communication can be overbearingly encouraging of a culture that can be experienced quite differently across teams and departments; upper management not always aware or in touch with operations' teams systems and their problems. -growing pains deriving from upper management pushing underwriters to expand business at a furious pace, while being incredibly stringent with offering additional support services headcount to match.
