Pros

Direct team working with was great, had great talent but unfortunately Bell cannot keep talent because of the toxic environment they have created and will not fix.

Cons

The workload was extreme, and our marketing team was not given the tools, staffing, or resources needed to support clients or operations effectively. Requests for help were consistently blocked by higher leadership, and when we couldn’t meet demands, we were blamed instead of the leaders who created the obstacles. Operations teams were often rude, demanding, and even spoke poorly of marketing to clients to gain favor, making collaboration nearly impossible. Leadership communication was nonexistent. My direct manager was supportive, but the COO created barriers that slowed or completely blocked progress. HR consistently failed to address serious concerns, including behavior from colleagues that made the office environment uncomfortable. Opportunities for pay raises, promotions, or career growth were nonexistent. Team culture outside of my immediate group was toxic. Recognition and credit for work were almost always overlooked, while our contributions were minimized or ignored. Expectations and priorities were unclear, constantly shifting, and the system set us up to fail. The company changed the in-office policy from three to four days without flexibility, and sick days did not count as in-office days, leading to people coming to work sick and spreading germs. The marketing team experiences extremely high turnover, averaging 1-2 notices per month during my one year there. When asked about the high turnover, COO, Cindy Clare said, “If people can find something better elsewhere, they should go." and "Every department has these challenges.” This dismissive response highlights the lack of accountability and disregard for employee experience. Overall, while there are talented individuals within teams, the systemic lack of support, accountability, and fair treatment made this an untenable environment for long-term growth. I cannot recommend this company.

Pros

Bell is a company that truly believes human capital is key to achieving great results. The support from upper management is amazing, and every interaction is based on respect and consideration. The Bell Buddy program is outstanding because it makes you feel supported and welcomed at all times.

Cons

No birthday day off. It would be nice to have a day off to be recognized on your birthday.

Pros

Pay was great. Many great employees and leadership until they laid off many.

Cons

I was there due to a management switch. My goal was to be there at least 5 years. In March, there was a layoff. I wasn’t laid off but was told my position would soon be in a matter of months. Due to restructuring I was transferred to a new property where the manager of the property had many insecurities and lacked integrity. This is where I was told my position was going to be eliminated 3-6 months after everyone. It did not make sense to me because it appeared other Bell owned properties were keeping there ACMS. Come to find out after I resigned this was not true as my position was posted again. The cm even worked with my schedule for interviewing. At first, I thought what a nice thing to do. After I left I realized what I was told was not the truth. This manager also said some very questionable things about my character that was never communicated to me ever. I won an award at the awards ceremony. Traditionally, winners are invited to the awards. I was not. No one employee from Bell bothered to tell me until days after. Who wants to work with a manager who goes what out of their way to exclude someone. I planned to be there long term. Beware of not so honest managers and be careful who you hire obviously. The team has not been happy with this manager.
