Pros

Good balance of work, remote work, laid back environment.

Cons

Just as an example. I made a 200k sale, received $400 commission... no vertical mobility unless you are a brown noser. No salary raises, rigged comp plan, AM gets monetary penalized when customer cancels software maintenance. There is NO, ZERO, NADA marketing support. It simply does not exist. Company management believe that products will win on "technical merit"... apparently they don't know about the Betamax vs VHS or OS2 vs Windows, or Apple Computers vs Windows based computers.... there is no strategy, sales people have no territories are instructed to sale to anyone, anywhere, anything. This has to be the most incompetent Executive Sales Management team I have ever seen in over 20 years in Sales.

The compensation is not market competitive for similar companies in infrastructure technology sector. At or below market.
