In response to a former employee's post on April 17th, I'd like to say that I'm sorry for the way this employee felt in order to post this sentiment. I do wish this person had brought his issues to HR and management for a mutual solution before things escalated to this point. BESST is a scientifically and socially progressive company where we value every employee! Management is not perfect, but we strive to have every employee's best interest in mind. Over the years we have found different ways to express our gratitude . Building on our staff's hard work we have offered all employees extra paid time off during the holidays for the past 5 years. We provide an 8% match to everyone's 401K plans and pay 100% of our employee's medical insurance premiums. Recognizing that work can sometimes be stressful, BESST brought on a consulting life coach at no expense to our valued employees. They are free to reach out at any time for advice on managing their work-life experience. As an innovative company, we value creativity and everyone's input. I am very proud of the organization and the amazing professionals that work here and who have collectively built a great organization that continues to grow and diversify.
