Remote work flexibility Initial onboarding was well-organized

Cons

Extremely slow interview process — took nearly a month to complete just a few rounds. Outdated support tools and platforms that are not aligned with current industry standards. Leadership, especially the head of support, expects rigid, robotic processes discouraging innovation or autonomy. Use of AI tools (in 2025!) was viewed as a negative, despite being industry-standard for productivity No feedback, no PIP, no warning just sudden termination during probation, without clarity or professionalism The probation period clearly outlines 30/60/90 day performance reviews, but none of that was followed HR communication during exit was cold and transactional no empathy or flexibility

Pros

Beyond has a strong mission, talented employees, and opportunities to work on meaningful projects. I enjoyed collaborating with cross-functional teams and appreciated the chance to contribute to innovative work. The people I worked with were supportive, skilled, and passionate about what they do. I also gained valuable experience and grew professionally during my time here.

Cons

The culture shifted significantly following management changes. There was an increased emphasis on oversight, administrative tracking, and process, which reduced autonomy and trust. As a designer, I found myself spending more time documenting work than focusing on design and creative problem-solving. Unlimited PTO policies felt restrictive in practice, making it difficult to fully disconnect and recharge. Workload distribution at times appeared inconsistent, which could impact morale and growth opportunities. These factors contributed to burnout and ultimately influenced my decision to leave.
