Cons
WORST leadership that I've experience in my entire career. There's an enormous turnover and rarely anyone wants to stay over 2-3 years. The work environment is toxic, long hours, no work life balance, no onboarding, no valuable performance reviews. Bonuses are promised but never given. The language used by HR in emails is harsh and punishing in tone. (eg. when Beyond employees were "forced" to come back to the office). There's no guidance from C suite. It's filled with old people who used work at Tyson. How does that ever work and justify for a company that wants to believe in a cruelty free world. There is a lot of bias and especially amongst departments. It's not about who you know, it's about who knows you. Ethan needs to make Beyond a research based company. The manufacturing team is so thin even if someone wants to do progress it's 'Impossible', maybe that's why they have it so! Doug Ramsey, who was recently arrested, openly showed up angry in meetings and often used to belittle even high ranking officials. No wonder he's gone! Every one that I worked with was always unhappy for the work they did - except loved their teams. There's no reward, they don't acknowledge what you do, and they'll throw you away as rotten fruit once their selfish agenda is over. To the world, it's this cool hip company, with a cool mission - all smokes and mirrors. It's a sinking ship, run as fast as you can. The only people who know what they're doing are all under VP levels. I experienced racial and gender bias, of course tough to prove these things.
