Pros
I learned a lot about the food industry by experiencing all the manufacturing sites in person, and got valuable hands-on experience at the plants.
Cons
Beyond Meat tries to do too many things at the same time. Either too many different directions from different VPs/managers, or no direction at all. The leadership team consists of a revolving panel of executives that come and go without implementing any meaningful policies or changes. They hire young college grads with little to no experience, underpay and overwork us, then give us managers that have never managed people. There is no metric for improvement or growth, and no sense of progress because the goalposts keep moving every few months. I was hired on to "do big things" and "be part of a movement" but only a year after I was hired my entire department was let go (which was also formed at the same time). They are their own biggest obstacle to growth, constantly tripping over their own shoelaces.
