- lack of human interaction if not in an office (cameras are turned off on calls, no one has time for any preamble so you never get to know anyone) - highly siloe'd - waste a lot of time trying to figure out who to connect with for different tasks - rubbish tools - refusal to work with standard software such as MS Office or Google workspace, have not-fit-for-purpose in-house alternatives - Difficult to truly gain traction in the executive if you come from a non-chinese background
