Pros

I am a career guide having worked in the industry for over a decade guiding for many different company’s over the years. I know the difference between a good company and a not so good company. This is a good company. Extremely impressed by all aspects from interview to onboard and then being part of such an amazing team. I have finally found my guiding home.

Cons

There are no cons - it’s job and I love my job

Pros

Hi there, I started working for this company a couple of years ago. Amazing company, great leadership, a company that really cares about their employees. They have about 20 full time guides and then some on call guides that come in for really busy months. If you love to travel this is a great way to do it and get paid well for it. In my time here I have been sent to Canada and Alaska as well as covering awesome national parks like Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, the list is endless. Expect to do some really cool activities as well along the way. Their head office in in Las Vegas but tours could depart from other areas. Housing is provided on tour and in between, they have one huge guide house really close to the Las Vegas office and then a condo in Girdwood plus another guide house in Anchorage for in between tours. Vehicles and gear are all new which is nice and on site staff is always happy to help out where needed. They offer good pay plus tips and commissions which can be substantial as well as a decent 401k program and other benefits. Overall a great place to work.

Cons

nope none none nope none why does this site make you put something here?

Pros

Tour Guiding for a living is a great life choice. Live life to the fullest, meeting people from all over the world, showing them the national parks then take off traveling for the winter. I have worked as a guide in this industry for many many years and having experienced working for several others, I choose here. Management is nice- they care, they time to get to know employees, I personally feel very fortunate to work here. Great benefits, above average pay and tips, opportunity to make commissions. They offer a 401k program, pro industry deals and discounts, further education stipends, seasonal bonuses, employee recognition programs and a great training program. Managers are on call 24/7 for support on the road and have regular check ins with staff. Las Vegas is a fun city to based out of if you are in the Southwest- always cool things to do and Managemt frequently forwards industry free tickets to events through their contacts locally.

Cons

No downsides to the company at all.
