Pros
-Cool product, could genuinely save lives if implemented properly -Pay is pretty good relative to the difficulty of the work -French company, so restrained drinking at work is accepted and even expected (provided you're not handling chemicals)
Cons
-Financials are hosed. You will be expected to drop actual customer orders and make large batches of product for demos and trade shows, because investor capital is the only thing keeping the doors open. -Constant survival mode behavior means there is no time to refine the product or production process, so things are always being done in the least efficient way possible. This means relatively small mistakes can ruin an entire day's work. -Management is in the habit of bringing in consultants to try to fix things. These consultants are rarely helpful and always vanish when they aren't paid. -Your work/life balance will be awful. The Quincy lead when I was there habitually worked 80 hour weeks.
