Pros
The industry attracts some of the best and brightest from various fields. Having a meeting center with weekly events made it a great opportunity to make contacts and be on the ground floor of breaking innovations. That said, any opportunities are due to one's own personal hustle and not any advancement offered by the management.
Cons
No opportunity for growth within the company and not well compensated. The company "hired" several interns (with no proper credit documentation to benefit them) for free labor. Not always a female friendly environment and the owner is notorious for ogling and inappropriate comments.
