Pros
Great people, great benefits, great PTO, never felt micromanaged
Cons
Management is unorganized in every aspect. I LOVED my time at Blackbaud, don't get me wrong...I just had a really difficult time ever getting confirmation on the "right answer" for questions regarding things like how to handle after hours phone, how to handle research time...this that should be easy straight forward answers. I feel that we changed the "right way" many many times and that's why it was difficult to confirm outright what the right answers to things were. Giving newly hired associates access to things was always a headache. Again, the people were absolutely wonderful and I loved all the different teams...but none of us knew the straight forward steps to grant correct access. It always took a million different conversations to figure it out. The only thing that made the process at all easier was the kindness of the employees. The training is also very very out dated and as an analyst, having out dated trainings and product documentation was always super stressful. Being on a call and the only documentation you have to share is from 2015 and you can't get any help because everyone is on calls and you have to test the answer yourself is such a scary place to be. I understand that this is just how it is sometimes because who on Earth can document every use case...but this happens a lot. The layoffs also seemed so rushed and responses to the layoffs were very vague. People are very scared right now regarding their positions, and hearing from management to "just wait to see what's coming, it's going to be great!" wasn't the right message to give right after mass layoffs for the 2nd time in less than 9 months.
