Work from home flexibilities, exciting clients, and cool website development.

Cons

The founders frequently cut corners and behaved unethically. They've lost law suits to former employees for lying about job growth and belittling employees. The number of horror stories their past workers have experienced is appalling. It's very sad every time I hear about how they're still hurting their employees and contractors. DM some of their old employees on LinkedIn to ask for yourself. Pay compensation is very low for mid-to-high expertise roles. Contractors were all required to use their tools and systems and deliverables. A few employees were terminated illegally after receiving consistent excellent performance reviews. Behind the scenes the owners constantly trash talk clients. Many people were told they'd have guaranteed raises if performance was good and then when they inquire about getting a raise they become furious. Unemployment office has granted numerous former employees (terminated/fired) access to unemployment insurance and the state office's determinations make it clear that Blennd did not follow employment laws. So many red flags if you reach out to old team members. If you value integrity and respect, stay clear. They have legitimately hurt so many people's careers, job security, and well-being.

We take ethical business practices, employee treatment, and legal compliance very seriously. No employee has ever been terminated 'illegally' at Blennd and we have never been involved with any lawsuits with former employees. All employment decisions are made based on performance, professionalism, and alignment with our employeement agreements. In fact, we maintain thorough documentation throughout our performance review and feedback processes to ensure transparency and fairness. We understand that not every role or environment is the right fit for every person. While we're proud of our work-from-home flexibility, exciting client projects, and the autonomy we give our leaders to make good decisions, we also hold our team to high standards of accountability and ownership. Unfortunately, in some cases, a lack of alignment in expectations and performance leads to tough but necessary decisions. We remain committed to fostering a respectful, high-performing culture and are proud of the talented team that continues to grow Blennd today. We encourage prospective team members to speak directly with our current employees to get a clear and honest view of what it’s like to work here.

"recruiters" are very skilled at conning/fraudulent activity.

Cons

I was told it was a remote position and online flexibility, few hours a day. I was "reviewing products" on a platform, "purchasing" said item, 10 at a time for 3 sessions (total 30 products). I was then scammed to add money to my "account platform" in order to earn more commission at increasing levels. I was scammed out of a lot of money and then when trying to withdraw said commission, told I was not able to withdraw the amount and had to add money for a fee to withdraw. Supposedly "my money" (commission) is still sitting in the platform. No manager able to help escalate for me. I was totally conned I am sorry to say.
