Pros
The product is great The snacks at least semi made up for having to come in 3 days a week just to sit on zoom calls Very occasionally there was a "we're all in this quirky little start up together" vibe...which was normally quickly ruined with the cons below and severe lack of work life balance.
Cons
Lack of any real leadership and direction (and serious lack of diversity at the top). They all look and think the same. And that's the way they like it. Redundancies/lay offs are handled incredibly poorly and there's many of them At times, felt like half the company were on PIPs Very cliquey and the CEO/leadership show blatant favouritism (secret breakfasts with the CEO, champagne for the favourites at Christmas, etc) Personally my manager was a "i'll do it all myself" sort of person and didn't care about developing the team. I often got the impression he saw us as incompetent balls of lint.
