Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand that not every workplace suits everyone and that experiences can vary. However, we believe it’s important to address significant inaccuracies and generalizations - both for current team members and those considering joining us.
1. “People here are either masochistic, depressed, or too lazy to leave”
We disagree with this statement, since our team is made up of capable, motivated individuals who choose to work here because they find purpose and challenge in what they do. We actively invest in a positive and supportive environment.
2. “The review from Dec 10, 2022 is the CEO, he uses ‘-’”
This is speculation and we don’t engage in guessing who may have written anonymous reviews. What we focus on is fostering open, honest and direct communication within the company, where feedback can lead to meaningful dialogue and improvement.
3. “No one actually likes working here. Everyone just tolerates it”
We regularly receive positive feedback internally, especially from long-standing team members who are engaged and invested in their work. We understand that every experience is different and we're continuously working to improve.
4. “One employee got threatened to be fired for asking for a raise”
This claim contradicts our HR values and policy. We support open discussions about compensation during regular performance reviews and retaliation for such conversations is not tolerated.
5. “CEO takes everything personally”
We expect professionalism from all leaders. Feedback, including constructive criticism, is welcomed through regular 360° evaluations and other internal channels.
6. “Whenever CEO says something that makes sense, the whole office claps — that’s how rare it is”
We understand humor can be part of frustration, but exaggerated sarcasm isn't a substitute for meaningful feedback. Leadership maintains open communication and encourages transparency.
7. “If you quit, CEO says you didn’t bring any value”
This doesn’t reflect our offboarding process. We conduct respectful exit interviews and value the contributions of all employees - regardless of their time with us.
8. “Company hires only students/fresh grads for cheap labor”
We hire a mix of early-career and experienced professionals across departments. Compensation is based on market benchmarks, job roles and experience.
9. “CEO brags about being toxic”
We have zero tolerance for toxic behavior in any role. If there are concerns about conduct, we urge employees to report them confidentially and we take them seriously.
10. “No work from home but don’t speak at work”
This misrepresents reality. We offer flexible work arrangements depending on role and team needs and we encourage collaboration and professional communication in the workplace.
11. “CEO ignores all feedback because there will always be more students”
We regularly review employee feedback - including anonymous suggestions - and use it to guide policy, product development and workplace culture initiatives.
12. “Positive reviews are fake or from Americans who get WFH”
All reviews are voluntarily submitted by team members. Remote flexibility is determined by job function, not nationality.
13. “CEO breaks 2 laws a day” / “Potential lawsuits”
These are serious and unfounded allegations. We comply with all legal requirements in every jurisdiction we operate in and have internal and external audits to ensure accountability.
14. “Every day is stress through the roof”
We understand that tech and startup environments can be intense. That’s why we offer realistic goal-setting and encourage healthy workload management.
15. “Company adds features instead of fixing bugs”
Both bug resolution and feature development are core to our product strategy. We prioritize based on user feedback, urgency and long-term impact.
16. “Three mental cryses per week”
This statement is not only exaggerated but also insensitive to those who experience real mental health struggles. We take mental well-being seriously and offer support resources to our team.
17. “Worse than high school”
We regret if your experience felt this way. Our aim is to foster a professional, learning-focused environment for growth - not one driven by cliques or immaturity.
18. “CEO is always looking at cameras because he is a creep”
This is an inappropriate and baseless personal attack. Workplace monitoring, if any, is for security and operational reasons — never personal or unethical.
19. “Every year Blocksi survives is a miracle” / “No future in this company”
We’re a stable and growing company with a clear vision and strong international customer base. Like all businesses, we face challenges, but we evolve through them with commitment and care.
We invite all current and former employees to share their feedback directly through our internal systems, HR or exit interviews. We are committed to ongoing improvement, transparency and building a company people are proud to be part of.
Response from Blocksi Leadership
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience at Blocksi did not meet your expectations. While we take all input seriously, we would like to respectfully address several points that appear exaggerated or unsubstantiated.

Many of the statements in your review — such as accusations of legal violations, personal attacks, and broad generalizations — do not reflect the values or daily realities of our team. We maintain clear internal policies on fair compensation, performance feedback, workplace conduct, and professional development.
We are proud of our diverse team, including both experienced professionals and early-career talent, and we continue to evolve based on feedback from employees at all levels. We wish you the best in your future career and appreciate your contributions during your time at Blocksi.
