Pros
Collaboration is high both vertically and horizontally. Work life balance is good, but a lot has to do with your manager. If you have strong domain knowledgeable and can be considered an "expert" in a specific field, you will have a great life in this company. Knowing the internal system does help massively, as your knowledge is hard to replace
Cons
Politics, a lot of "vibe" decision making that is done on some manager' s perception without data to support. Promotions and pay are a grey process. Lots of legacy technology and lack of documentation. Recently more growth focus, but as revenues are growing, salaries are not. No equity
