Pros
Working on New Shepard and supporting the company to FHF was one of the best moments of my career. The problems were complex, but very rewarding. Also, I met so many smart and humble people at Blue who truly made work enjoyable.
Cons
After FHF, the rosy colored lens were ripped off my face. I was promoted and starting sitting in meetings with senior leaders and I was appalled with the toxicity amongst the L1's. The CFO was constantly attacking low level analysts, the CEO belittled directors and made people join Sunday meetings, and there were so many ex-honeywell employees (aka Bob's friends) who wouldn't stand up to him even though we knew he was wrong. Without an attainable goal in the near distance, I was quickly burnt out after 2 months of my promotion so I left the company. I used to stand by Blue Origin and drink the kool-aid, but working there as a manager wasn't worth it.
