Pros
Ownership of your work, the employees have sole possession of business matters in the scope of their role with clear expectations and minimal management oversight and pressure. Company culture is friendly, professional and personable. High level of respect among co-workers and high signal-to-noise ratio where everyone can be perceived as on equal footing as people with a true open-door culture (not by policy). Nearly all employees are customer-facing so they all communicate with each other and support each other in that effort. Run like a small business with wholesome small business ideals continually valued. Nearly zero corporate politics while still maintaining corporate standards of excellence and professionalism. Management is flexible with leave time especially in cases of emergency if they know you strive to do your best work and are reasonable. Team will often have Friday lunches for special occasions and a few events throughout the year as well. I am a fan of where I work, if we had merchandise I'd probably wear it often. Office is also dog-friendly.
Cons
I can see how some might say the office can be a bit quiet at times. Honestly I struggle to think of cons since the business is well-positioned as a software company and much care is taken in minimizing the cons.
