Pros

There are a lot of intelligent, hard working, and talented people that have worked at and do work at BlueVolt. The employees have been the differentiating factor in the market where BlueVolt participates. Many customer reviews have said this. The management has made strides to make the company more diverse in the employee base.

Cons

It's been hard working from home due to covid-19. This is no reason to be non-compassionate or disrespectful. Management is condescending, disrespectful and demeaning to employees, partners and contractors. They sent out an employee satisfaction survey a while back and expected everyone to fill them out. I think that management has already learned what the employees think of them. The employees are smart, and they will figure out. If I am feeling this way, then others are also likely feeling this way, as is evidenced from the other reviews on this site. I am sure that the board has noticed the high attrition rate. I wonder how you explain it. I guess you can chalk it up to hyper-growth. I can not speak for everyone that has left, but I can say that I am willing to work hard, to learn new things. I did not leave because of the work. I did not leave because of my coworkers. I did not leave because I was underpaid (although I was and I think that most employees at BlueVolt are paid below market value). I do not like to give negative feedback. I am doing this because I cared about BlueVolt. I feel like the owner, the board, fellow and future employees, and the management deserve and need to hear my voice.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, and we’re glad to hear that you had a good experience with your co-workers. BlueVolt has come under new leadership, a team of seven people from across the organization and including direct involvement from one of its founders, and we are working towards a culture built on honesty and open communication. I appreciate your thoughtful feedback and your care for the company, and I hope you will be glad to hear of this new direction for BlueVolt. Best, Tom Rangner VP of Operations

Pros

BlueVolt has been around for a while but kind of feels like a startup with the immense amount of collaboration that goes on. Really awesome team, leadership is great, continuous improvement is a priority.

Cons

There is a lot of prospecting.

Pros

The team here is honestly one of my favorite things. The work space is pretty collaborative and everyone works together to solve problems. There's been a recent lean into learning and using AI tools and also a focus on improving training and helping people meet career goals over time.

Cons

I mean the challenge is that I feel like the CEO means well but sometimes comes across as abrupt. He's the type of person that expects everyone to take charge of a project or workflow in their own way.
