Pros
- great as an entry to the game dev industry - amazing collective of people (cannot stress this enough, this can overshadow the cons, temporarily) - ok pay in QA specifically (thanks to continuous efforts of low level managers) - bonuses (decreasing tendency tho) - stable and fairly low effort job if you are capable - basically no crunches in QA Baseline: if your job doesn't require you to interact with people of higher managerial positions or if you're conservative (or don't care about company culture), this is a really good and stable job to have. I was mostly happy there. The ordinary employees there are majorly wholesome and friendly people.
Cons
- studio stuck in "90's entrepreneur" era when everything was easy and possible, that applies for the business model (low effort marketing) and "company culture" (top management extremely conservative) - not employee nor game dev oriented but solely profit oriented company - employee education not encouraged - inability to retain capable people - as a woman or expat, you might not feel as welcomed - burnout seems like a matter of time - Thailand office is ?????
