Pros
The salary, hours and overtime are incredibly worth the hard work and getting up early for the morning shift. You're generally scheduled in 10 hour shifts which automatically gets you two hours of overtime a day, and any hour worked after 12 hours in a day you start making double the pay, so if they need the help and you are willing to stay, you have some chances to make a ton of moolah. They also pay you an additional 15 minutes per day to compensate for the time you spend shuttling from the parking lot to the dining circle and sometimes will throw in other bonuses or incentives. Most of the staff is very friendly and very flexible with the schedule if you need it.
Cons
As a dishwasher we are often short staffed, so sometimes during rushes the work gets overwhelming and things start to pile up. The long hours can be tough on the body and if you're at the Grove to just get in as many hours as you can in the short amount of time it's open, your life will probably consist of little more than eat sleep, Grove, repeat, but again, it's super worth the paycheck at the end. The working conditions aren't the safest and non-slip shoes or welly boots are pretty essential (they have boots to use if you need them).
