Pros
Competitive salaries, Corporate HQ close to LIE.
Cons
Morton Bouchard the human being is a sadistic individual. The stories one reads and hears about Mr. Bouchard (And that's how employees must address him: "Mr. Bouchard") are true, no matter how often the company tries to refute these tales in their bogus posts on Glassdoor. I've worked for privately owned companies in the past and have found that their owners often have the mentality of feudal lords, but Morty-Boy takes this to the extreme. In my brief time with Bouchard I was privately warned to be very careful about what I wrote in emails because Morty sometimes reads them. I was told not to look into his office when walking by. (Of course: the peasants don't dare look the king in the eye.) And, naturally, there were numerous stories about people being fired without warning or just cause. (Nothing to be done about that as New York is an at-will state.) Several Long Island recruiters told me that they stopped working with Bouchard because Morty was just too difficult to deal with. One, however, did concede that Morty was often more amiable after lunch.
