The entire operation of Brain Balance is a scam! There is a reason why doctors don't recommend Brain Balance, insurance companies refuse to cover it and parents are not allowed to observe the sessions of their child, they are told to wait in the lobby until the session is complete. It costs customers thousands of dollars and it is a total rip-off. During my tenure there, I became increasingly concerned going into meetings with disgruntled and complaining parents that their child’s behavior was not improving. I was always told to tell the parents that their child was simply going through a "VALLEY" and tell them that "that is common." Every "Coach" that works with the children are teenagers or young adults that are making minimum wage, have no experience in the line of work, and are given no formal training prior to starting. Any teenager can simply walk off the street and get a job there. It got to the point that I became embarrassed and ashamed of going to work there. The entire organization is just dysfunctional. The day that I left that company, I went home to take a really long shower. Please do not spend your money. And if you are still thinking it is a good option, I highly encourage you to meet with a pediatrician and your insurance company. I am certain that they will echo my sentiments. I am not composing this post for any other reason but to inform the public about my experience as an employee there.
