Pros

Bright Immigration is a company that sticks to their vision and mission! I was hired as a full-time Legal Assistant and absolutely enjoyed my time there. The company is constantly growing, always willing to educate others and their employees and that's what I appreciated about Bright. Everyone was always willing to answer questions, always willing to help and assist with any help needed. The company is the company to be at if you want to grow within your future career and meet amazing working professionals. It is a very friendly, work-life balanced and professional environment. The CEO and his team are always willing to accommodate to any needs and very understanding. Nonetheless, I had an amazing time working at Bright and would recommend anyone, if you are given a chance at Bright, definitely take it because you will not regret it!

Cons

This is not a con. However, just like any immigration firm or law firm, Bright is also a firm that is on the go and fast paced. If you're willing to challenge yourself and able to work in a fast paced environment then this is not a con at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the fast paced environment!

Pros

I was hired for a full-time legal assistant position, although I had to leave due to the Covid-19 situation. The company is well-settled, with responsible staffs and managment. The collegues are very nice and supportive to each other. The supervisor or senior staffs lead directly their assigned junior members and I was one of those who learned and grew a lot under their supervisions and help. I could not thank more for their efforts and wisdom in their professional and personal advices. The CEO and management group is relatively young and open-minded, so their approach to the client's immigration situation can be creative. Compare to the law firm that had a lawyer who managed the tasks and strategies, where I use to work before coming to this company, I would strongly recommend this firm to be your choice of work and even for the clients. They appreciate your hard work and loyalty. Very genuine and down to earth people. I will definitely recommend my peers to work for the firm if they wish to develop their career in immigration law and consulting field. The firm also has other charity organization that serves as a hub to give back to the larger society. It is quite inpiring that the management is keeping that in mind, not just eager to expand their business for the profit only. I was inspired a lot and proud of what they are doing because I highly appreciate their work and professionalism.

Cons

As any other immigration consulting firms are like, it is very fast-paced work environment that requires highly focused attention to every detail. Also, since it is small-medium sized firm, the office is a bit small but does not interfer with work experience itself.

Pros

Huge learning experience since you will have the workload of 3 people. My co-workers were all nice, friendly and supportive. Needless to say, they all found new work places.

Cons

Management has no idea what they're doing. Way too many people trying to be the boss and few employees, which leads to an extremely toxic and stressful environment. Huge egos and little competence. Bright likes to advertise as a law firm. No one there is a lawyer and they're not even legally allowed to hire lawyers. High turnover of employees, I've seen new people come and go within a week. One guy quit in 2 days. There is no work/life balance, you're expected to live and breath work. During my time there, my colleagues and I would never leave work on time. Overtime was a daily occurrence and never paid or in any way recognized. Another thing to be aware of is that Bright ALWAYS deletes bad reviews, whether is on Google or on Glassdoor. They say "this person never worked here" or "this person is not a client" and the bad review is deleted. Clients were sent a $50 invoice that would be waived if the client agreed to write a nice review for them. Extremely unethical. Management would bring their loud dogs to the office which would bark all day and interfere with client meetings. I won't get into details of how gross it was to have dog pee and poop everywhere. They definitely do not deserve a 5 stars review anywhere. Horrible experience overall. Would never recommend working there, unless you love being miserable.
