Pros

BronxWorks pays entry level case managers well, the benefits for a non profit were acceptable, and the diversity of the employees is impressive.

Cons

However, the case managers are all overwhelmed because the turn around rate for BronxWorks is intense. Case managers have on average about 30 open cases and are expected to close out in a certain time frame, which isn't always feasible. Inflexible work hours (strict 9-5) culture and no training process. They kind of just throw you on the field and expect the other overwhelmed case managers to train you.
