I wish had refused the offer from Buck - Data Programmer Buck Employee Review

Some other reviewer said they felt like Buck is “dying”. I fully agree. Buck called me, enticed me to quit my stable job to work for Buck, and then laid me off. While I know I was part of a major group of layoffs, it still stung to think I could have just kept my old job. I knew something was wrong when I was there only a couple of months. I never had work that matched what I was hired to do. I was bounced around, and was scrounging for work much of the time. The day they laid me off it was very unceremonious. They called me, told me my access to all systems was revoked, and that I was no longer an employee (after reassuring me the decision had nothing to do with my performance). I was had!
