Pros

In prior years- this was a great organization providing excellent services to children and school districts which was due to their former supervisors & teaching professionals. Dedicated professionals in the area of speech, hearing, physical, occupational and vision therapies- along with special ed. teachers.

Cons

Recent changes in the last few years in supervision and internal policies from the top down have caused much discontent and frustration. There is a strong perception of a general message being sent of a 'lack of respect and appreciation for the teaching staff'.

Pros

The children, if you love working with special needs children and assisting them to learn and want a family friendly work schedule (if you have school age children) it's good.

Cons

Tension in the classroom atmosphere, among other staff, making your day stressful and way to much drama from coworkers. Hire inexperienced staff and teachers to just fill the spots. Low pay even if you have 10 years experience. No staff support and they talk down to you (like you're a student). It's supposed to be all about the children and what's best- it's not.
