Pros

My coworkers in the Customer Service department were great most of the time. We had some personality conflicts from time to time, but you have that everywhere. When the CEO would come visit he would often buy lunch for the entire office. Management is willing to pay overtime.

Cons

Low pay, even for people who worked there for long periods of time. No advancement or raise opportunities, toxic upper management, a lot of blame given to the wrong people when things go wrong, having people who are not in accounting researching accounting issues. Slow to hire replacements for people who quit/are fired. The number of people in the position I had went from 10 to 4 by the time I left, with no advertising on any job boards to replace them. The people who were still there were expected to do all the work of the people who left in addition to their own jobs.

I appreciate the comment. We have grown now to almost 15 CSR's. I agree that there needs to be more fairness in compensating the CSR's who make things happen for us a day to day basis.

Pros

Leaders at the company care. High performing and dedicated team members throughout the company. Interesting product line challenged us to be accurate and creative. Great customers. Builder customers and home owners. Being pushed to grow in my job as products change and the company grew. Being able to talk with employees at all levels, on a first name basis. Overtime often available in some departments. Our call center was the heartbeat for service and logistic needs. Talented team able to think and problem solves everyday that come with the home building industry.

Cons

Some times it is hard to find enough workers. The weather! Makes it hard to get everything done. Teamwork helped us take care of our customers.
