Pros

Working at BusRight has been an incredibly rewarding experience. As an Account Executive, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to a company that is truly making a difference in student transportation. The leadership team is forward-thinking, supportive, and always open to new ideas, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. The product itself is solving real-world challenges, and it’s exciting to be part of a team that is passionate about improving efficiency and safety in school transportation. The company provides great resources, training, and autonomy, allowing for both personal and professional growth. The work-life balance is also excellent, and the team is filled with talented, mission-driven individuals who make every day enjoyable. If you're looking for a company where you can make an impact, grow your career, and work with a fantastic team, BusRight is the place to be!

Cons

🔹 Fast-Paced Environment – Things move quickly, which can be exciting but also challenging for those who prefer a more structured setting. 🔹 Growing Pains – As a scaling startup, there are occasional changes in processes and priorities, requiring adaptability. 🔹 Resource Allocation – Like many startups, some departments could benefit from additional resources to support rapid growth.

Pros

Honestly top tier. Ability to do your best autonomous work, while also building without walls and collaborating with all departments to achieve a common goal. It’s something special getting in this early, I don’t want to be corny “we’re a family” but honestly, it’s a pretty dope work family set up we have here. Incredibly smart, humble people building something amazing and working in an industry with the most deserving people (School district employees!) I could write a novel but I’ll leave it at that. Want to work hard, and play harder with a group of amazing people? BusRight is right up your alley.

Cons

It’s a start up so if you’re not ready for that environment this may not be the place for you right now. We work hard, we work together and some times things don’t exist yet (we’re just a baby) or may not work to its best capacity (we’re iterating and improving!) But if you want to roll up your sleeve and build a company from the ground (maybe 2nd floor) up the. Come aboard! :) Also Benefits could be better

Pros

The chance to work with a group of smart, ambitious, and creative people.

Cons

- False promises from leadership (to both employees and customers) - Horrible micromanagement. Be prepared to have your emails and slack messages read and be criticized publicly. - Lots of firefighting. No room to do the actual day-day job. - Leadership needs training or to have people in their place who have actual leadership and SaaS experience. - Threats of firing team members if they don’t follow new rules that are then redacted after a few weeks. - Disingenuous smiling, all the time. - Misleading about work flexibility when employees have to document where they are and what they are doing at all times on their work calendars. - Try to take a sick day, they won’t let you. Same with vacation. - Have no awareness of work/life balance nor human bandwidth. Don’t let their lengthy interview process and public videos fool you. Go work somewhere else where you know you will be treated like an adult human being.
