Pros
New Owners. Very forthcoming with information and are working hard to bring the company back to profitable status. Good teamwork, lots of interaction.
Cons
The amount of documentation needed is not for the fainthearted. In my position all of the managers left over the last two years and were replaced with the most senior people still around. This is good for continuity but back for the new people coming in (in my group only one person has been here longer than 18 months). No people management, no discernible direction, no faith in their subordinates. It is a sad state for such a great group of people, in and out of IT.
