Pros

Remote cleared work, "Unlimited" paid time off, local culture is laid-back. The salary is still market competitive, but the total comp is not what I hired on for and I will be losing at least 10% short-term unless something big happens to bump me back up.

Cons

Corporate pulled one of the worst bait-and-switches I've seen in my 20 yrs in the industry! Hired on with a great retirement package, 6 months later, they "harmonized" everything stripping all the good features away and changing salary. Many flexible benefits are gone, and the "Unlimited" time off program is still new and many fear it will lead to reprisal on employees who use it. Corporate gave NO warning to anyone, just mandated changes are effective next month. Not impressed with corporate and have a negative outlook for things to come based on this experience.

Cons

Communication from the Web Content Analyst lead could be improved. Employees were often expected to complete tasks with limited guidance or knowledge sharing, which made onboarding and professional development more difficult. Interactions with leadership could sometimes feel unnecessarily dismissive or discouraging, especially when employees asked questions or requested clarification on technical processes. Expectations and priorities occasionally changed without clear communication, creating confusion and additional stress for team members trying to meet deadlines and deliver quality work. Technical information sometimes felt unnecessarily restricted, which created challenges for collaboration, efficiency, and overall team growth. Feedback was not always delivered in a constructive or supportive manner, which could negatively affect morale and confidence within the team. Stronger communication, mentorship, professionalism, and a more collaborative leadership approach would greatly improve the overall employee experience and workplace culture.
