Pros

Easy interview process and working from home is why they have a star.

Cons

They are very understaffed and have a high turnover rate (with good reason). You would think they’d value employees more because of that, but you’re just a number. Managers make rules as they go VS. following policy. Trainers/supervisors were rude and were caught talking about new hires when their screen was shared in Teams meetings. Low ball salaries. PTO is like pulling teeth to call off - it’s whoever calls off first, wins. Unrealistic expectations. Only one day a week for casework and they’ll have an attitude if you don’t complete it. Training did NOT reflect the actual calls or job. You’re thrown into the wolves. The MICROMANAGEMENT is the worst! If you get up to use the restroom for 5 mins, somebody will message and ask where you’re at. They watch your screens and listen to your headsets even when you are off calls. It’s very strange and uncomfortable. I wish I would’ve dealt with my previous job. The headache and low pay will have you shopping for a new job in no time.

Pros

I feel that I was paid appropriately for my experience and my work, and the incentives were wonderful. I loved (and still LOVE) the people that I worked with. They helped me through some of the toughest times of my life, and I honestly regret leaving.

Cons

The job itself is very stressful, but can also be very rewarding. It is also a tad hard to grow, as openings for other positions are few and far between.

Pros

Performance based bonuses, you can take your hour break at once or turn it into multiple small breaks.

Cons

Went from remote to hybrid (aka in office a majority of the time) with no notice, your health insurance is not free even though you are working for BCBS, overtime is mandatory. Even though you are an "advocate" most of the time you are just explaining to customers why BCBS won't cover their meds/procedure/etc. Prepare yourself to talk to someone's dying granny and not be able to help them at all. :(
