Pros
-Opportunity to take on more responsibility if you do good work. It's a small company so you can jump into many areas of marketing that you'd like to gain experience in. -Engaging & interesting clients - it's fun to write about science! -Beautiful office space -Many of my coworkers were kind and enthusiastic people. I felt like my boss and colleagues genuinely cared about me.
Cons
-Smaller company, so less regular opportunity for advancement compared to a larger place. You need to make a very clear business case to get a raise or promotion. -I probably could have made more money doing the same work elsewhere in Chicago, but I liked the life science oriented writing, so I stayed on.
