Pros
I enoy the people I work with. I've been offered opportunities for advancement. I've work days & nights on multiple units. Like any healthcare facility, occasionally we are understaffed, but I see this as more of a national problem than a company issue. We are usually staffed appropriately to provide safe care and that's more than I can say for many places.
Cons
No holiday pay. Occasionally understaffed. Pay is ok but I wouldn't call it very competitive. However, there are I incentive programs to help you earn more if you put the energy into it.
