Pros
CIM is a great place to develop a strong real estate career. CIM invests in a broad spectrum of real estate assets so you'll get exposure to all product types and different types of deals (core, opportunistic, value add). The people are all very smart and hard working, and while it isn't the easiest job, I've definitely learned a lot and am pushed every day to step up. Working here can be intense but the people are great so there's a strong sense of camaraderie
Cons
The people who do best at CIM are very entrepreneurial so if you're looking for a more straightforward kind of job CIM won't be the place, but if you're willing to work hard and put in the effort it's a great working and learning environment.
