My experience at CLC Utilities was deeply disappointing, driven largely by poor leadership from the directors and a clear lack of organisational maturity. There is little to no effective leadership at the top. Direction is inconsistent, decisions are reactive, and expectations shift without proper communication. Accountability is enforced downward, while senior management avoid responsibility for systemic issues. Training is almost non-existent. Employees are expected to perform at a high level with minimal onboarding, no structured training plans, and very little guidance. The company lacks basic structure and defined processes. Workflows are unclear, systems are disjointed, and this creates unnecessary pressure, confusion and inefficiency across teams. The working environment is poor, with long hours and extra effort treated as the norm rather than exception. There are little to no benefits, no meaningful incentives and no real investment in staff development or wellbeing. Additionally, there appears to be no proper HR function, leaving employees unsupported and vulnerable in matters that should be handled professionally and fairly. Overall CLC Utilities is a company that takes far more than it gives. Without clear leadership, training, structure or processes , it is not an environment where employees can thrive of feel valued.
